Wakefield, MA 2nd Alarm - 7 Furness Cr - 1/26/18

Wakefield firefighters, with the help of fire crews from a few surrounding towns were able to knock down a first floor kitchen fire in this 2.5 story private dwelling Friday afternoon January 26th. The fire did extend into the 2nd floor but quick work from firefighters prevented further extension and the fire was knocked down in short order. Firefighters were also able to rescue 2 cats from the fire and return them to their owner unharmed.
