Manchester firefighters were kept busy Thursday morning December 7th 2017 battling this 3 alarm fire on Hanover St. Companies arrived to find heavy fire showing from the B side of the large 2.5 story, 17 unit building. Firefighters from Trucks 1, 3 and 6 worked feverishly to open up the building and knock the fire down from above while several other crews ran big lines and blitz guns. the fire fight lasted into the early afternoon before being brought under control. All Manchester Fire units were on scene including the mask service unit, several support units and multiple EMS units on standby. Mutual aid coverage from thruout the area came in to the citys fire stations while MFD crews worked the scene. A cause is still under investigation at this time
