Wilmington, MA - Working Fire - 20 North St - 12/6/12

Wilmington Fire companies arrived to find heavy fire showing from this 1 1/2 story wood frame single family structure. With help from firefighters from Reading and North Reading, companies were able to bring the fire under control in about a hour. 1 firefighter was transported to a local hospital for an injury sustained while working the fire. The extent of injuries is unknown but non life threatening. The home is a total loss and word around the scene was that the homeowner has no insurance. Very tough, especially this time of year.
