Response: Lawrence Engines 8/7/6/9, Ladders 4/5, Squad 1, C21 Deputy Wilson, C20 Chief Moriarty, and the FIU. Mutual Aid on scene were Methuen E3 and Andover E1. Coverage at Central were engines from Dracut, Haverhill and N Andover and a Lowell ladder.
Heavy fire showing from the exterior porches on the C/D corner of a large 3sty occupied multiple dwelling. A quick knockdown from the exterior with a simultaneous interior attack had the fire out very quickly. That quick response and attack proved to limit the damage to the outside porches with minimal extension into the structure.
