Watertown, MA LODD Funeral - FF Joseph Toscano - 3/22/17
Firefighters from thruout the region and beyond gathered on Wednesday March 22nd to celebrate the life and mourn the death of Watertown firefighter Joseph Toscano, Aide to Deputy Fire Chief Bob Quinn.
FF Toscano was killed in the line of duty in a 2 alarm house fire on Friday March 17th on Merrifield Ave. While operating at the fire, he suffered a major medical emergency and collapsed. His fellow firefighters quickly removed him from the dwelling while performing CPR, transfering him to a waiting ambulance where he was subsuquently transported to a local hospital.
FF Toscano was a 21 year veteran of the Watertown Fire Department and he leaves behind his wife and five children.
